blind pig does not = pliny the younger
they are two very different ipas, both are still being produced

Did I miss something here? Blind Pig and PtY have nothing to do with each other. One is the highest rated DIPA right now on multiple sites and the other is a single IPA that is above average.

You write like you are the know all of beer, yet these statements demonstrate that you certainly do not have your facts straight. So you have a bottle of Blind Pig but will not enjoy it because it is not from Stone? To me, a beer like Avery Maharaja from CO is right up there with the Ruination or Pliny the Elder, but I try and not make superlative comments indicating that beer from one region is always better than another.

I never said I didn't like them I said they were not my top choice. The poll I do believe was to vote for your favorite CA brewery which I did and must add Stone is winning. If I had known I would get attacked for my preferences I would not have voted on this poll. Every beer drinker is entitled to there beer tastes without being called a Troll or being told they are condescending. +  less
