Do You Still Drink American Lagers?

Personally, I've given them up. If all they have at a restaurant is Bud, Miller, Coors, or Sam's Boston Lager, I'll drink a Coke or water instead.

fretwalker I'll take Sam's or almost any microbrew, but I'll drink water before I'll drink Bud/Miller/Coors. Tastes the same and is a lot cheaper!

Since Sam Adams' main brewery is in Cincinnati, it's always nice and fresh around here, too!

KajII I have had a few good Samuel Adams brews. Kind of a vaugue question a lot of micro-brews come from here in America.

DonkeyThong33 this one depends on if it is the mainstream american lagers. I have gone to craft breweries that brew their own and call it an american lager and I will admit, I enjoyed them.

Deleted Member Agreed. I shouldn't have included Sam Adams, but I figured I've drank enough Boston Lager for one lifetime. I like their other offerings as well. I'm talking strictly about the macro (and some "micro" American Lager - Point, Blatz, Huber come to mind.....  more
