3kinds Found this thru Facebook - odd place to be for a nearly 50 year older, right? Anyway, thanks for the welcome. I will certainly turn on my beer drinking pals to this site. Many thanks.

  • About Me With regards to beer: Microbrews are my favorites and there are no beers I won't try at least once. Not a big fan of pumpkins or blueberries in the beer though. Love to experiment with new micros, love to write, love parties and while watching a Red Sox / Yankees game - it's conceivable that no beer in the house is safe.

  • Mark Congrats South Carolina! The State House just approved the so called "Pint Bill" that will allow breweries to sell 48 ounces of beer to a person every 24 hours. No more tiny samples if you're wanting a pint - as long as the Governor signs the bill.

  • Virtual Craft Beer Tasting Club
    483 members
This group is designed to share notes about beer, as well as tasting notes and suggestions and get to know beer lovers from all over the globe. Here's the idea: We have themed tasting. In advance, if possible, we will pick a Style of Beer we're going to taste, then we trade tasting notes. The tasting period will be over two weeks so we get an outpouring of related tasting notes, which will spur deep discussions.... Check the Discussion area for what the tasting will be.
