Bablet → Mark: ok, so I have never participated in the virtual tastings...what type of feedback are you looking for?  lol I know what I like when I taste it!  but for real what type of details are we wanting?

Mark Basically whatever you thought about the beer. Good, bad there is no wrong answer. Most will comment on color, clarity, smell (nose), taste, mouthfeel and how well the beer represents its style.

KajII Everyone has a different take on a brew. Some smell and taste things others do not. There is no right or wrong, only what you see in it yourself. It is something you can't screw up no matter what you write.

  • Mark Congrats South Carolina! The State House just approved the so called "Pint Bill" that will allow breweries to sell 48 ounces of beer to a person every 24 hours. No more tiny samples if you're wanting a pint - as long as the Governor signs the bill.

Beer with altitude! Colorado ain't called the "Napa Valley of the Beer World" for nothing! The Rocky Mountain state:

    Has over 100 microbreweries
Produces more beer than any other state
Has won the second most GABF medals
Is home to the Great American Beer Festival, American Homebrewer's Association and the Brewer's Association
Might have more beer festivals than any other state

Why not join the fun!? Come mingle and (virtually) imbibe with fellow craft beer dudes and dudettes!

This group is designed to share notes about beer, as well as tasting notes and suggestions and get to know beer lovers from all over the globe. Here's the idea: We have themed tasting. In advance, if possible, we will pick a Style of Beer we're going to taste, then we trade tasting notes. The tasting period will be over two weeks so we get an outpouring of related tasting notes, which will spur deep discussions.... Check the Discussion area for what the tasting will be.
