BsBB1 → willwork4beer2112: Hey Mike. Glad to see another New England guy here to push some east coast beer love. I am also a fan of Allagash. Actually, their Classic White Ale was one of the first craft beers that I fell for.

SF: SOMA - City Beer Store - it's a beer store, no! it's a bar! no! it's a neighborhood hangout! Good beer conversation, with owners and regulars.
SF: Mission - Zeitgeist - the beer garden is much better in the summer but for tattoo, hippie and hipster watching while sampling some good brews, can't be beat. Have a charcoal-grilled item as well, but be sure to be accomodating to the grillers!
SF: Lower Haight - Toronado - great selection, and grab a sausage at Rosamundos or the middle eastern place next door.
Berkeley - Jupiter. Get yourself a seat next to a firepit outside. Pizza and roast chicken are good.
SF: Haight Ashbury - Magnolia - IMO these guys did everyone a disservice by nixing the psychedelic history and going Gastro Pub, but hey, they do have good beers, including a couple nitros, and their menu, although I liked it better before, still is tasty, if a bit Gastro for my tastes.
SF: Hunters Point (! Don't go late - it's one ... less
