IamSanto → ilovebeer: No problem, man. Glad you dig 'em. I'm new to the tasting end of things - paying such close attention to the various elements - but it's a lot of fun. If possible, I think I'm enjoying beer even more than I used to!

IamSanto → oregonbeerlover: Santo. Santa. Same difference. I'm loving the Holidays regardless of surname. Anchor Steam's Christmas Ales all around!

oregonbeerlover: I keep looking at your profile name and am thinking Santa not Santo...must be all the sugarplum fairies dancing in my head. Anyway, thanks for the add and bottoms up!

IamSanto → ilovebeer: Yup... I already joined up on the stout tasting and saw the Chocolate and an Imperial were mentioned. Awesome stuff. I'm going to have to hit the store tonight and see if I can track down something new.

IamSanto → Mark: Man, you have a bunch of my favs right in a row there: "Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Anchor Steam, Red Stripe, Kalik." I'll tell ya, though... I just can't get into Newcastle much. Those Brown Ales do very little for me. Ever have "Old Brown Dog Ale" by Smutty...  moreMan, you have a bunch of my favs right in a row there: "Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Anchor Steam, Red Stripe, Kalik." I'll tell ya, though... I just can't get into Newcastle much. Those Brown Ales do very little for me. Ever have "Old Brown Dog Ale" by Smuttynose? If you're a fan of Brown Ales, you might want to give her a try. Me? I think it's the weakest of their line-up.

Anyhow, excellent site here. Very cool to see a gang of beer lovers congregated on the interwebs.

This group is designed to share notes about beer, as well as tasting notes and suggestions and get to know beer lovers from all over the globe. Here's the idea: We have themed tasting. In advance, if possible, we will pick a Style of Beer we're going to taste, then we trade tasting notes. The tasting period will be over two weeks so we get an outpouring of related tasting notes, which will spur deep discussions.... Check the Discussion area for what the tasting will be.
