I am thinking that since Winter starts officially 12/22/11 this will be our first tasting of tthe Winter season. The best beer I know of for Winter is STOUT.

Might be a good idea for each of us to send the other 3-4 12 ounce bottles of different local stouts. That way we each have about 12 of the same beer to review. Could get expensive though. Let me know what you think.

Ya, a little to close to Xmas for me, I got a couple of teenagers. They are pretty expensive. I like the idea though. Pair off into groups and see how our reviews compare. Maybe in Feb.

That is what I was thinking with Christmas almost here. We'll work on it for February. Perhaps the beers do not have to be so local to us just that we each send out 3 or 4 and have 12 or so different brews to try each and review.
