just had one of my rye pale ales, didn't turn out too badly. I won't be able to brew for a living, but at least it will keep me busy. Has anyone here tried growing hops and had any success?

But I would think if they got banged by something(the wall is pretty thin) the bottles might break and I would hate to be the guy who got that package. I use the 1 price shipping boxes from USPS and wrap bottled with bubble wrap then stuff the box with newspaper. Never had a problem.

try Total Wine, BevMo, or similar. they have awesome boxes that have the perfectly cut styrofoam in the bottom, then place the strofoam top on and voila. I've never had a bottle trade go bad!

If u wrap the bottles in bubble wrap these will work well and are cheaper - http://bit.ly/nnOkTA

Sounds good and all but do you think the shipping is going to be more or less (I usually just make the weight limit) than USPS 1 price box. Thats a great deal considering the weight!!.

The styrofoam insert is probably going to be too big for the large USPS flat rate box. That box is 12x12x5.5 and the inserts from uline which should be about the same size elsewhere are 14.5x14.5x4.5.

This group is designed to share notes about beer, as well as tasting notes and suggestions and get to know beer lovers from all over the globe. Here's the idea: We have themed tasting. In advance, if possible, we will pick a Style of Beer we're going to taste, then we trade tasting notes. The tasting period will be over two weeks so we get an outpouring of related tasting notes, which will spur deep discussions.... Check the Discussion area for what the tasting will be.
