what I found:
Appearance: Jet black with a tan head, some light lacing
Smell: Heavy instant overtones of licorice, followed hints of burnt malts,
chocolate, coffee, and other sweet aromas.
Taste: The anise is immediate and obvious, but not overpowering. - kind of
tastes like black jellybean , but then blends quickly with flavors of,
chocolate, coffee, burnt and roasted malts.
Mouthfeel: Heavy, smooth, nicely carbonated
I thoroughly enjoyed this beer. This is not an all night beverage, but it is
an excellent, festive after dinner stout. less

I attended the first festival last year and was extremely pleased with how the festival was run and the variety of beer available. bobkur → sharon319: I read your web page and I have a similar taste in beer as you. The Weyerbacher Pumpkin Ale is out of this world. A perfect blend of pumpkin, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, and at 8% alcohol a nice kick to bring it all home.

oregonbeerlover: I would love to have a home bar myself...we keep the liquor scattered in every room of the house, including a bedroom and a coat closet. So a bar would be nice! Thanks for the add, cheers!

I have three great passions in life, my wife, my sports, and my beer (not necessarily in that order...). Most local brew pubs do not carry an extensive line of microbrews and imports, so to satisfy my beer requirements I built a home bar (Bob K's Sportspub) so that I can always have good beer available.
