Mark, have you heard about this beer radio show in Denver? My neighbor runs the show on Saturdays. It might be a good way to get the site noticed and maybe yourself on the radio to promote it.

cbrevilleDoes anybody have any alternative uses (outside of drinking or cooking with) beer? I've heard of people washing their hair with it, but don't know what else. Anything to make me say, "Oh...I can fix that with beer"?

For BlackBerry + King of cola's) and called it a B.B. King. A bus full of tourist asked me what I was drinking, I told them a B.B. King, and about everybody ordered one by name. The bartender told me that they now had a house drink. I too wonder if it's still there.

MetalsmithChic: Really? What's the name of this drink?! It could still be there, i don't go downtown much but if i ever am i'll be sure to check for you (and maybe order one!)

cbreville → MetalsmithChic: Memphis! Though this isn't beer related...I created a drink at B.B. Kings in Memphis. It has been 8-years since I've been there, so haven't been back to check to see if it's still there. Fun town.

cbrevilleMy 4-year-old daughter loves for me to show her Octoberfest pictures on-line and we talk about all of the fun things we will do there. Her top 3 things she wants to do: 1. Ride the carnival rides. 2. Drink her own beer. 3. Eat pork knuckle (really).

oregonbeerlover: It would be awesome to go to the Oktoberfest in Munich wouldn't it? I keep trying to find a way myself!

This group is designed to share notes about beer, as well as tasting notes and suggestions and get to know beer lovers from all over the globe. Here's the idea: We have themed tasting. In advance, if possible, we will pick a Style of Beer we're going to taste, then we trade tasting notes. The tasting period will be over two weeks so we get an outpouring of related tasting notes, which will spur deep discussions.... Check the Discussion area for what the tasting will be.
