Just picked up a Duclaw Repent. Has anyone ever had one? It's 14%! I'm not a big fan of belgians but this one is described as a dark ale. Plus, I love Duclaw.

The 2011 was so cloyingly sweet, it was practically undrinkable, just raw sugar and booze. 2009 was considerably mellower, but felt like it still had a ways to go. I gave up on the vertical, and plan to drink an '07 now, and give the rest another few years in the cellar. I'll let you know how the '07 turned out.

Paul Growler stations are the main reason that I go to one particular store, it has 46 taps, that rotate depending on availability, but at least half of them are local brews (within 15 miles). also helps to taste a little before getting a 6'er.
