fretwalker I recently picked up a couple each of batches 3 (2007), 5 (09), 6 (10) and 7 (11), intending a vertical tasting. The 2011 was so cloyingly sweet, it was practically undrinkable, just raw sugar and booze. 2009 was considerably mellower, but felt like it...  more

    • jbladen
jbladen That would be great. Some time in July is my goal but August is more reasonable. The selection may limited at first but I'm hoping to have 300-400 choices within six months.
    • jbladen
Paul Are you planning a growler filling station? The next time I'm through VA, I'll stop by.
      • June 3, 2012
    • jbladen
jbladen Not sure about growler filling at this point. I'd say probably, yea. Come see us!
    • jbladen
Paul Growler stations are the main reason that I go to one particular store, it has 46 taps, that rotate depending on availability, but at least half of them are local brews (within 15 miles). also helps to taste a little before getting a 6'er.
