Has much more of a pub feel than the brewery's pub...and the food is much better there. I haven't been there in a few months, but I have heard that they were working on getting a small batch system set up to brew on site....almost like a big homebrew system, I guess. Maybe like a pico system or something along those lines.

hopdog09: I like Michigan brewing, but I'm sorry they moved. Loved the old building, but I understand why they had to.  The new place just doesn't have the character yet

kiltedbrewer I certainly won't argue with you there. I, too, loved the charm of the old place. Have you been to their Lansing pub?

kiltedbrewer Just brewed my Scottish Ale.  This one is always a favorite around here and definitely a favorite of mine (even though I am a hophead).  Entering this one into a contest.  Wish me luck.

We can all agree that great beer comes from all over the world. But as I'm a Michigander and believe that our beer holds up to and set standards of some of the greatest beer in the world, I am happy to present a place for all of us to discuss, review and answer questions all about Michigan Beer!
