A lot of beer these days is made without additives, so, in moderation they could be considered healthy. There is also research that the hop flower is a "significant source of cholesterol-lowering, cancer-fighting, and virus-killing compounds called polyphenols" (quote is from Men's Health). That would lead me to believe that a heavily hopped beer, such as an Imperial IPA, has healthy aspects.
