nealw6971Well, I found out from my mom that I have a wee bit of Irish blood coursing through my veins. Add this to my German and Scottish roots and my Cherokee heritage and I ask, is it any wonder why I love good beer and whiskey?

An entire double fermentation brewing system (with glass carboys), 4 books on brewing (including our Brewer's Bible, The Joy of Brewing), loads of grains, malt, hops, rice hulls, etc (all double bagged, sealed and straight from the freezer), A keg sized wort boiler with spout/valve (this particular brewer would boil his wort on the grill!) and assorted other goodies, (hydrometer, thermometer, bottle caps, bottle capper, etc). nealw6971Thanks for the well wishes. I'm sitting here... it's 12:30 am so my birthday is over... but I'm still enjoying O'Dell Brewing Co. IPA. Mmmmm... need I say more? Beer is indeed proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy (My apologies to Benjamin Franklin).
oregonbeerlover: Hi, and thanks for adding me. You like some great beers! Bottoms up!

The tasting period will be over two weeks so we get an outpouring of related tasting notes, which will spur deep discussions.... Check the Discussion area for what the tasting will be.
