I'm a big fan of Strong Dark Belgian Ales... my first true love from this style would be Unibroue's Trois Pistoles.
I'm slowly coming around on all manners of Pale Ale, but I'm not in the "the hoppier, the better" category. I'm a masochist, but only to a point.
I'm a big fan of nearly everything in the Clipper City "Heavy Seas" line, the exception being Hang Ten... I'm not all that into wheat beers, and it had a distinct burning rubber taste to me.
This winter I fell in love with Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale.
I've recently tried Hopslam, and I love that, too. I'm terrible at making lists like this. :)

This group is designed to share notes about beer, as well as tasting notes and suggestions and get to know beer lovers from all over the globe. Here's the idea: We have themed tasting. In advance, if possible, we will pick a Style of Beer we're going to taste, then we trade tasting notes. The tasting period will be over two weeks so we get an outpouring of related tasting notes, which will spur deep discussions.... Check the Discussion area for what the tasting will be.
